Perhe!!

CARDBOARD TERRA
joins cardboard NATE
Hey I finally have a pday today!! Missions are crazy but you kinda just learn to roll with whatever gets thrown at you... Cardboard Terra looks great!! haha I am so glad I can be in all the family pictures now, it is like I never even left!

Anyway, the last few weeks have been pretty good.  I  feel like on average my energy and desire to work just keeps building up every day! Change calls are on Saturday and I am thinking I am going to stay in Vaasa but you never know... Vaasa is the best place in Finland, even our mission President says that! I am sure every place is great but I am always told how lucky I am to have this as my first area. There are also so many different cultures here, I have easily talked to people from over 25 different countries! As far as the work goes, it is a lot of up and down. At first you think you meet someone who is so prepared and you think they are so awesome and then they just drop you... But hey, you got to love them anyway! When Elder Nielson came and talked to us (he served in Finland too) he told us never to get discouraged because this is not a South American mission haha, not sure if that offended anyone.. Because missionary work is hard no matter where you serve!  The Finns are very reserved but inside they actually really want to talk to you, or they will usually be pretty nice and just say they are not interested but that we are doing a good work. If only they knew...

The spring is starting up here which pretty much means it is light outside from the moment we wake up until 9:30 at night. It is sweet because it also means that people outside are generally happier :).  The language is coming along but of course there are those days where I feel like I can’t even ask what someones name is haha, I get a little tongue tied... Overall though I am loving the work. It can be hard, but I love it.

My trainer is going home next week so these past few weeks have been kinda hard for her emotionally... But we have still been able to do all that we need to do and I still learn something new everyday! Sometimes I have the feeling like my mission is going by so slowly and  I will never leave this place, but then I think about everything i need to learn and I panic and wonder if I’ll have enough time to learn it all haha! Well, it is crazy that by the end of my next transfer, Nate is going to be home! That is going to be crazy! As far as mothers day goes I am not sure what is going one because we haven't coordinated with a member yet of when we will use the computer... so i am sure I will have that info next week but I think it might be easier if me and Nate do separate Skype calls. I will present the other option too though :)

I love you family!!  I am so happy to be a Wunderli and be a part of the coolest family eva!

Nähdään ensi viikolla!

I Am In Helsinki

A BIG THANK YOU TO:

GRANDMA SYLVIA
DAVE BURBIDGE
DRU TURLEY
RHETT ANDERSON
ALEX BROWN

I got a letter from all of them this week!! Thanks Willow Creek 7th Ward!!

Hey Perhe!!

The week went really well, we had a lot of teaching appointments set up which felt nice after just trying to find a bunch of people! It is super funny though because we talk to everyone and it just so happens that only 1 of the people we are teaching right now is an actual Finn... Haha the Finns just need a little push! they dint seem to accept our message as much but we are going to find a way to get to them.

The concert went really well yesterday, me and my comps sang Savior Redeemer and everyone loved it! The ward was really happy about the whole thing in general. Around 12 non members came as well which is super awesome!

I am in Helsinki right now because after 6 weeks all trainees go to the Mission Homand we have a bunch of meetings and President asks how things are going and such. We had to wake up at 3am yesterday so we could take a train here! That is always fun. But it has been great to ask questions and get pumped for the last few weeks of the transfer!

I just have to tell you all that I am learning so much about the gospel, life, other people, and myself. I am loving being able to see how the Lord works and how He is in every detail of our lives! And I am learning a lot about loving others and praying for that charity. I am getting a bit nervous for change calls because my trainer is leaving and it is likely that I will stay in Vaasa and get a new trainer! So i really have to know this area well and know the members which is hard when i dont understand a ton... But all is well, the awesome thing about missionary work is that it is all in the Lords hands so when you really think about it you dont have to worry about anything because
whatever happens that is out of your control is in the Lords hands! So nice.

The letters from the ward boys was awesome and I also got a letter from Grandmas Sylvia along with a package of candy! As if food wasnt already a problem for me... :) haha anyway, sounds like all is going well,

I love you guys!!!

Talk to you next week!!!
